Profile
JSLHISAR
In 1975, the Hisar plant of the group was established, when Shri O.P Jindal, envisioned a self-reliant India that could meet its stainless steel demand. Also, the stainless steel then was no less than a luxury metal and India was entirely dependent on the imports to fulfill its demand that attracted duties of up to 300%. Then, it was Shri O.P Jindal's vision as well as his pioneering spirit that led to the establishment of the Hisar plant, which is India's first stainless steel manufacturing unit. Since its inception, Jindal Stainless (Hisar) Limited has always integrated its operations on a strategy of both, backward as well as forward integration, and starting from melting, casting, and hot rolling to cold rolling and the other value additions. Currently, this plant is a fully integrated Stainless Steel plant with a capacity of about 8, 00,000 tpa. It is also the world's largest producer of Stainless Steel strips for the razor blades and India's largest producer of coin blanks, and also serves the needs of India and International mints. Its specialty product division also caters to the high-end precision and specialty stainless steel needs of reputed Indian and International customers. And its product range includes Hot Rolled Coils, Strips, Slabs & Blooms, Plates, Coin Blanks, Precision Strips, and Cold Rolled Coils. 2016: The Jindal Stainless (Hisar) Ltd was being listed and admitted to dealings on the Exchange in the list of 'T' Group Securities.Trading and Investment Terminology
