The Company is a diversified, Research & Development, which is focused on agri-business Company, dedicated to enhancing the productivity of Indian farmers by innovating products and services that sustainably increase crop and livestock yields. We hold leading market positions in the different businesses in which we operate - Animal Feed, Crop Protection, Oil Palm, Dairy and Poultry, and Processed Foods. Also, it desires to expand its presence in the "Animal Protein" space, and it also acquired a controlling stake in Cream Line Dairy Products Limited, which is a leading Dairy player in South India. It also has a significant presence in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Maharashtra, in the brand name "Jersey." It also has an awe-inspiring value-added product portfolio such as Curd, Flavored Yogurt, and Ice Cream, and many others. In 2004, the company also entered into a joint venture with the Advanced Chemical Industries Limited (or ACI) Group from Bangladesh, for manufacturing and selling Compound Feed. Also, the ACI-Godrej Agrovet joint venture ranks among the top three feed companies, across all the categories in Bangladesh.

Some of the Milestones:

• 2001: Godrej Agrovet Ltd, due to the launch of its poultry product under the brand name `Real Good Chicken' in the Western region, also entered into a technical tie-up with Stork Group of companies to set up a poultry processing plant in Taloja.
• 2004: The Company also entered into a 50:50 joint venture with Advanced Chemical Industries Ltd, Bangladesh, to set up an animal feed and poultry businesses in Bangladesh.
• 2005: The Company also forged an alliance with Taiwanese co.
• 2007: Also, the Syndicate Bank signed an MoU with Godrej Agrovet.
